Update on product safety testing - 04 May 2026
Hello mga sad girls π
As a follow up to our previous notice, we conducted third-party testing to validate the safety of our perfumes and ethanol supply. The results confirm that all tested materials meet established safety standards.
- Certificate of Analysis (COA) from our supplier (please note that a separate COA is issued for each batch β this one is from supply purchased March 2026)

-
Test results from a finished perfume sample (sample from 2024)
- Test results from our remaining ethyl alcohol inventory (sourced November 2025)

Full transparency notes:
Allowable methanol content for perfume is 5%.
Customer Code on result has been edited (our team member who submitted the samples for testing wasnβt sure what to write on the form).
Names and signatures from the testing facility have also been blurred for privacy purposes.
Our commitment does not stop at testing. We are actively strengthening our internal processes to ensure better consistency, traceability, and scalability. For full transparency, as a small studio, all these changes will take us some time to roll out as we navigate how to enforce this changes while minimizing impact on the cost of our products β but it is a necessary step for us to continuously improve how we operate and to ensure that product quality and safety are never compromised.
While I will always stand by the integrity I've put into building sad girl scents, I also know that intentions and outcomes do not always align. This is why we are reinforcing our systems and practices so that our products are not only aligned with our values, but also supported by clear, verifiable evidence.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in sad girl scents. I will always work to be worthy of it.
Trisha, sad girl scents
