Upcoming price adjustment - 12 July 2026

Effective on August 1, 2026 - we will have a price adjustment on most of our products. We wanted to let everyone who has supported us to be aware of this change ahead of time. 

The following products will be affected with the price increase.
(These are website prices. Shopee prices will be higher due to platform fees. No change to pricing in Common Room stores.)

  • eau de toilette
    • 10 ml - Php 300 → Php 350
    • 50 ml - Php 1,100 → Php 1,260
    • discovery set - Php 1,300 → Php 1,450
  • hand & body wash
    • Php 400 → Php 470
  • hand cream
    • Php 360 → Php 400
  • perfume balm / solid perfume
    • Php 360 → Php 400
  • perfume oil
    • Php 360 → Php 400
  • room spray
    • Php 500 → Php 580

Please know that I really did try to hold off on any pricing change until necessary (our last price increase for our EDTs was in 2024). For full transparency, here's most of the factors that contributed to this change:

  • A lot of our raw materials and some of our packaging materials are sourced abroad, paid in their local currency. While a lot of them has not changed in price, unfortunately, the value of our currency (Philippine Peso) has significantly declined within the past year.🥲
  • Fuel surcharges have also increased due to ongoing global crisis, affecting not just shipments of raw materials but shipping orders to you.
  • Increase in utility fees and platform fees.
  • On another note, I've always aimed to pay the people that keeps sad girl scents up and running a fair wage (whether it's our full time or part time employees), and our artists/accountant/etc get paid with how much they think their work is worth. The upcoming minimum wage increase will not be causing any impact to our pricing.

I know our products are not a necessity, especially during this time. This is why we’re trying to be as accessible as we can be while still running this business sustainably.

Whether you’ve purchased from us before, or just quietly supported us by interacting with us on social media and recommending us to your friends, or luckily, still find us worth your hard earned money.. just know I'll stay extremely grateful!
